Pre-registrations Now Open for AquaLAB’s 2021 Collaborative Water Utility Innovation Accelerator

In 2021, AquaLAB is planning to bring together the best and brightest water innovation leaders, cross-sector mentors and human-centered design thinking specialists to address water’s biggest challenges in a new collaborative innovation accelerator.

Why a multi-utility innovation accelerator

In our conversations with you over the past months, we’ve heard your commitment to creating a world where water is sustainable. You’ve also voiced, loud and clear, that collaboration and cross-sector learnings are key to re-imagining our water systems, processes and technology as you work to address common challenges..

Through the innovation accelerator, AquaLAB aims to provide those who are already working on complex challenges with a space for out-of-the-box thinking and the opportunity to work with their global peers.

Your outcomes

By the end of the 8 week program we’re committed that:

• you will be confident in implementing an applied innovation framework in your business,
• you’ll enrich your collaborations with other utilities and innovation leaders,
• you’ll identify some quick wins you can implement in your business and
• bigger ideas will have a clear path for implementation.

To support you in achieving these outcomes, the program includes mentors drawn from our design-thinking team and other industries like energy, medicine, transport and manufacturing and is customised to support teams in rapidly ideating, validating and testing ideas that have the potential to scale to water utilities everywhere.

And because AquaLAB is all about supporting experimentation and co-creation, there may also be opportunities to explore co-investment in ideas once the program is finished.

Expressions of Interest are open till December 11, 2020. Places are limited and utilities can nominate up to 3 team members to participate.
